Due to my busy work schedule, I haven’t had much time to update my blog. However, readers can still find my free tips on the TXODDS blog. The last selection I shared on here was Napoleon Blue, who performed well at odds of 22/1. Looking ahead, I have another pick for the Sole Power Sprint Listed contest at Naas. I believe that Julia’s Magic, a filly trained by Denise ‘Sneezy’ Foster, has the potential to do well in this race, especially on quick ground.
Julia’s Magic comes from a strong lineage, being sired by Dandy Man, and her half-sister, Lily’s Rainbow, has achieved success at the Listed level. Despite being more modestly rated at 92, Julia’s Magic has shown promise at the Listed level, particularly at Naas on quick ground over 6f. She narrowly missed out on a place in her last outing, finishing just half a length off the winner and alongside fillies rated 95, 112, and 97. This performance indicates her potential in the upcoming race.
Although Julia’s Magic faces strong competition from horses rated over 100, her advantageous draw in stall 1 could work in her favor. Additionally, her form and strong finish in previous races demonstrate her capabilities as a sprinter. With her sole turf win coming over the 5f distance at Navan exactly a year ago, the drop back to 5f at Naas should pose no problems for her.
Based on Julia’s Magic’s potential and strong form, my selection for the 3.15 race at Naas is Julia’s Magic E/W at 28/1. I have confidence in her ability to deliver a strong performance in the upcoming contest.
